One Laptop at a Time

Help Start Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We empower underserved students to break the cycle of poverty by providing them with laptops. This enables them to access online learning, develop vital skills, and shape a brighter future.

Our Mission

How We Help

Many students enrolled in BYU-Pathway Worldwide and other educational programs face immense challenges but overflow with potential.

"I want to thank you greatly for the support you have given me and my fellow students in receiving laptops. We received them just on time for the next semester, and this has also motivated other church members to join BYU-PathwayConnect classes. Thank you again and God bless you."
— Alice Joan Akumu (Recipient of a Help Start Laptop)
