Pres. Jeffrey R. Holland
I consider the creation of BYU-Pathway Worldwide to be the most important and most far-reaching development in the Church Educational System of this Church since the creation of Seminaries and Institutes of Religion over a century ago.

Annually, BYU-Pathway Worldwide reaches over 75,000 students in more than 180 countries and provides opportunities for them to gain undergraduate and graduate degrees for a fraction of the cost of traditional universities. A student does not have to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to participate.
PathwayConnect
PathwayConnect is a six-month online program. It prepares students to start or finish a degree by building spiritual confidence and teaching foundational academic skills. After PathwayConnect, students can apply their course credits toward a degree at the same low price.
Each semester, students take a manageable courseload of academic and religious education. All course credits count toward future BYU–Idaho degrees, presented and coordinated through BYU–Pathway Worldwide.
