Refurbished laptops are sent to West and Central Africa, the Philippines, and the Pacific Islands from vendors in other countries. The laptops comply with technical specifications to ensure their useful life and effectiveness.

In each country we serve, we have representatives who manage the inventory and distribution of laptops.

Laptops are used to help students complete their BYU-Pathway certificates and degrees from universities such as BYU-Idaho and Ensign College, in addition to other Church-related opportunities.

In addition, laptops can support a student’s future employment opportunities.
